Help Desk – Tier 1

Description

Candidates will be providing general support, via telephone, email, and/or online chat, to all clients to help them learn and use our proprietary software products to the best of the client’s ability. The candidate will also provide assistance, coordination, and follow up on reported issues and resolve problems related to systems, applications, hardware and software used by the client.


Responsibilities

  • Provide general technical support via telephone, email, and online chat
  • Research and documentation of software bugs
  • Testing for new releases
  • Regular status reporting
  • Ongoing personal knowledge development in our products and IT arena
  • Other duties as determined by management

Performance Standards

  • Must be capable of setting priorities and working within a timeframe
  • Must be able to multi-task, working with multiple clients simultaneously
  • Must actively take on incoming support items
  • Technical support is expected to be carried out with minor supervision and handled in a professional manner
  • Proper documentation is expected of all communications
  • Research will be performed to obtain answers to difficult questions, checking all available resources
  • Ability to work with clients and internal departments in a respectful, friendly, helpful, and responsive manner is essential
  • Must adhere to our Company‚Äôs Mission and Core Values
  • Client and employee discretion and confidentiality is imperative

Requirements

  • Associates Degree (preferably in Technology field)
  • Great customer service skills
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Significant hardware and software experience with PCs
  • Experience in professional photographic industry a plus
  • Evenings and weekends may be required
